True Love Smiles when saying Goodbye — (Instagram Musings #3)

These thoughts are expanding on my video ‘7 Big Goals I’m working on to Achieve!’ — Enjoy!

I’m a firm believer in true love. I’m also a saggy believer too. Love can exist in all forms. A beautiful blissful relationship is something that I’ve always envisaged. I just want to feel what true love feels like at least once. Even if it doesn’t last forever.

I want to be able to always carry around that feeling inside me and feel content. The feeling of being fortunate enough that it even happened. True meaning comes from love.

If my partner wanted to leave me for whatever reason it would hurt a lot, but ultimately it would be the right thing for her to do. That’s why I’d feel inclined to apologise. I hadn’t fulfilled her needs. If you truly love someone you have their best interests at heart even if it doesn’t serve your own desires.

I know you’re out there somewhere.

I believe we have the potential to do anything we truly want to. That’s great news, but it’s not as simple as that. The only way to access our full potential is through our mindset and actions. We subconsciously limit ourselves. Whether it’s through perceived bias or just self doubt. You have to bet on you. You’re always in control of your actions. Actions are the foundation for dreams and success.

You have to act in accordance with your ambition. If your potential is limitless the action required to even marginally reach your potential is huge. I’m sure the majority of us are guilty of not taking enough action. Myself included. I’m trying to resolve that every day.

We’re prone to deciding against ourselves. In turn, limiting the limitless. Altering your decisions. Believe and move forwards and you’ll soon see what you’re chasing is something you can never catch.

The good news is, if you even get marginally close to your true potential you’ll have everything you ever dreamed of.

It took me a very long time to put my dream into words. Sure, it’s easy to say ‘I want to be successful on YouTube and in the entertainment industry’ — but what does that really mean? It has to be more specific and deeper than that.

Sustainability is important. Art can be made without it, but the dream is to be paid for passion. It doesn’t even have to be a lot of money, just enough to keep producing content.

There are all sorts of content I could make that attracts viewers. I don’t want to just cash in on trends. Artistically it’s hollow. It’s not art to be proud of. I want to add some sort of value, not just harvest views. There has to be some meaning. Art cannot be compromised for selfish gains.

My core values:

  • Don’t be reliant on others.
  • Maintain creative and personal freedom (not told what to do)
  • Reputation is slavery
  • Don’t want to have to suck up to people
  • I don’t want to be told how to be / false artistry.

Dream following is an interesting thing. I decided I was going to document my journey via my YouTube channel. This was a great idea until I realised my destinations were vague. Becoming successful on YouTube was not enough.

It then made me realise that nobody will care about my journey if where I was headed wasn’t clear. How could you get behind a cause if you didn’t really know what it was? What it represented?
This forced me to get very specific and it did me a world of good. Not only for the others who follow me but for me to narrow down exactly what I was chasing. The more specific and accurate you be about your dreams the greater likelihood you have of reaching them.

Even if you’re not documenting your process I’d recommend you pretend as if you were. Get super specific. Get super honest with yourself. Have the confidence to put your ultimate dreams on paper. Then spend your days working towards them knowing that you’re remaining true and pure to your inner desires. Staying loyal to a path that leads to your happiness and fulfilment. It all starts with getting specific.

‘I’ve seen what true love looks like, happiness and that dreams do come true. All that’s left now is to embrace and to experience.’

This is a quote that I wrote before starting the journey towards making my dreams a reality. I had been researching success, love and happiness for years. I’ve seen all of it is possible and what it truly means. Not just what it means, but also what it takes to get there.

Now I’ve identified clear and specific goals I can begin to move towards them. This is not an easy journey. Even though I’ve been specific about what I want the path to success is still unclear. There’s a lot of faith involved. I have that faith because these goals are my true and honest desires. They’re connected to me as a person and integral to my happiness.

The only unbreakable thing about us is our mind. I will find a way. Now I know what’s out there and what can be done, I have to try it for myself. To have this knowledge and to never pursue something would be a total waste of enlightenment, provided what you’re chasing is what you truly want. Go soul search.
